  3. PowerCheck 2.0 is Copyright ｩ 1994, 1995 Tanagra Software and its primaries.  (We own it.)

  6. PowerCheck 2.0 is Shareware.  This means you are free to copy it and distribute it however you like (give it to all your friends!), as long as:

  8.     1.  This notice and the user documentation are distributed with the application. (keep it together)
  9.  2.  You do not charge any type of fee for the software. (don't try to sell it to your mother)
  10.

You may use PowerCheck 2.0 for a brief trial period without having to pay any fee. We leave the definition of trial period up to your good conscience, but we believe a couple of weeks pushes the definition of the word "brief." (we don't ask for much)  If you decide to keep PowerCheck 2.0, you must send a check or money order for US $8.00, payable to "K. Winant,"  to the address below.

Neither Tanagra Software, nor anyone even remotely associated with us, makes any claims as to the fitness of this software to run on your system (use at your own risk).  Should PowerCheck 2.0 produce any unexpected results, damage any files or devices, eat your homework, cause a phase-shift or quantum variance in subspace, or generally contribute to the decline of the Western (or Eastern) World in general, we can not be held responsible (don't sue us).  We don't want to frighten you- it's been well tested and has never, ever caused any phase-shifts that we know of. that we know of.

For those who assemble Shareware/PD collections on CD-ROMs or other media- if you charge no fee of any kind for accessing your collection, you may include PowerCheck 2.0 (we want you to distribute it).  If you do charge a fee, you must first get explicit permission from us to include PowerCheck 2.0 (we'll probably let you do it, especially if you send us a copy of your collection.  Unless, of course, it's the "Collection of Worst Shareware in Existance").  Permission is hereby granted to include PowerCheck 2.0 on CD versions of the Info-Mac archive.
